AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 941 OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more
than two- thirds in assessed value of the property located
within the territory hereinafter d escrited have filed a pe-
tition praying that an improvement district be established
for the purpose hereinafter set out; and,
WHTREAS, after due notice as required by law, the
City Council of the City of Littla Rock, Arkansas, has heard
all parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that
said petition was signed by more than two- thirds in assessed
value of the owners of real property within said territory;
NOW.. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINM) by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby eistablished an improvement
district embracing the following described property:
Lots 1 and 2 of Block 1 of Capitol View Addition;
Lot 1 of Block 4 of Plunkett's 2nd addition;
Lots 1 to 8, inclusive, of Block 1 of Union
Depot Addition;
Lots 1,2, and 11 to 18, inclusive, of Bodman's
Subdivision of Block 8 of Worthen's
Subdivision;
All of Block 1;
Lots 1 to 9, inclusive, of Block 2; and
Lots 1 to 12, inclusive, of Block 4;
All in Virginia Heights Addition.
for the purpose of o ading, draining, curbing, guttering, and
paving, in such a manner and with such materials as the com-
missioners to be elected for the said imnrovemnt district
shall deem to be for the best interest of said district, the
following parts of the following streets in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
All that part of West Markham Street lying south
of the south line of the Northeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 4, Township 1 North
Range 12 West, and lying between the present pave-
ment on ':"lest Markham Street at the northwest corner
of Block 1 of Capitol View Addition and the east
property line of Park Avenue.

All that part of North Park Avenue lying east of
the center line of Section 4 Township 1 North,
Range 12 ,'Jest, from the center line of West Mark-
ham Street to the north property line of River-
view Street.
North Street from the east property line of North
Park Avenue to the east property line of North
Schille-' Avenue
North Schiller Street from the north property line
of North Street to the north property line of River-
view Street.
Riverview Street from the east property line of North
Park Avenue to the west property line of North Schil-
le�° avenue,
The Public Street that runs north from the north
property line of Riverview Street through part of
Lot 7 of Block 4 of Virginia Heights Addition, then
runs in a northeasterly direction across Lots 809,
10, and 11 of said Block 4 and joins Arkansas State
Highway No. 10 at the west end of the Lincoln Avenue
Viaduct.
and the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from any
agency of the federal or city government,be assessed and charged
upon the real property above desci ibed, provided the liability of
each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement Dis-
trict
No. 541.; and
J. H. Whitman
, W. A. Erwin
and
A. D. May
are hereby
named commissioners, who
shall compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
