AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF
THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY EACH
OF THE LOTS IN STREET IT PRO VBMENT
DISTRICT NO. 536 OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a majority of more than two- thirds in value
of the property holders owning property adjoining the locality
to be affected and situated in Street Improvement District No.
536 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the
purpose of improving a certain street as therein set out have
petitioned the Council of the City of Little Rock for the con-
struction of said improvement, and that the cost thereof shall
be assessed upon the real property of said district according
to the benefits received; and,
WHEEiEAS, said benefits to be received b7T each and every
lot of real property situated in said district equals or exceeds
the local assessment thereon; and
WHER '��AS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
$2.,472.00.
THEREFORE, IT IS NOW ORDAINED BY TH7 CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CI`['Y OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The said sev�:.Ial lots of real property in
said district be assessed according to the assessment list for
said improvement district as the same now remains in the office
of the City Clerk, and that twenty percent (20O) of the assess-
ment on each of said lots shall be paid anni?_ally on or before the
day of of each year, beginning with 1940,
until the whole of said local assessment of benefits shall be paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and the ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
