PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 'E SECTION 1. There- Is hereby appropriated out. of the. Municipal Auditorium Bond Fund the sun of Nineteen Thousand Three i Hundred and Ninety -five and 90 /100 ($19,395.90) Dollars for the following indebtedness of the City of Little Rock due and payable at. the office of the Chase National Bank of New York City on August lst, 1940: Maturing Principal (Bonds Nos. 1 to 10, Inc.) ....... $10*000.00 Semi - annual interest at 4% per annum on $469,000.00 outstanding bonds, Nos. 1 to 468, Inclusive (coupons No. 7) ........................... 9060.00 Commission for paying maturing principal due August 1, 1940 ....... ....................0.......... 12.50 Commission for paying coupons due August 1, 1940.... 23.40 $19.395.90 SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated out of the Library Annex Bond Fund the sum of Two Thousand Five and N0 1100 ($2,005-00) Dollars for the following indebtedness of the City of Little Rock due and payable at the office of the Chase National Bank of New York City on August lat. 1940: Maturing principal ............. ......................$1,500.00 Semi - annual interest at 4% per annum on $25,000.00 outstanding bonds Nos. 1 to 29, Inclusive (Coupon No. 7) ............................. 500.00 Fee for paying maturing principal and interest due August 1, 1940 ........ ............................... 5.00 $2,005.00 SECTION 3. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Little Rock are hereby authorized to Issue the City's warrants for the amounts and on the funds of the City herein recited; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to make such arrangements as are necessary for the transmittal of these funds to the Chase National Bank of New York City to meet the due date of August 1st, 1940 of said semi- annual interest and paying agents fees.
