AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 5757, FIXING
THE NUMBER OF PREMISE INSPECTORS, FIXING THE NUMBER OF
COMBINATION CLERK - STENOGRAPHERS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF
SANITATION OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The number of premise inspectors
provided for in sub - section 4 of Section One (1) of
Ordinance No. 5757 is hereby reduced from ten to five.
SECTION 2. The number of combination Clerk-
stenographers provided for in sub- section five (5) of
Section One (1) of Ordinance No. 5757 is hereby reduced
from three to one.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage, and whereas
it is necessary to perfect plans immediately for garbage
program as a means of protecting the health of the
citizens of Little Rock, an emergency is hereby declared
to exist, and this ordinance is found to be necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, health
and safety, and the same shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
