AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 943 OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ,ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more than
two- thirds in assessed value of the property located within the
territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purpose here-
inafter set out; and
WH'EMEAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all par-
ties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition
was signed by more than two - thirds in assessed value of the owners
of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following described property:
Lots 1 to 18, inclusive, of Bodman's Subdivision
of Block 8 of Worthen's Subdivision to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Lots 1 to 8, inclusive, in the Replat of the West
220 feet of Block 9 of Worthen's Subdivision to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and
paving, in such a manner and with such materials asthe com-
missioners to be elected for the said improvement district shall
deem to be for the best interest of said district, the following
part of the following street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
to -wit:
Lloyd Court from the east property line of Park
Avenue to its intersection with the east property
line, extended north, of Lot 4 in the Replat of
the West 220 feet of Block 9 of Worthen's Sub-
division of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.

and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from
any agency of the federal or city government, be assessed and
charged upon the real property above described, provided the
liability of each lot V get „'of land shall be limited to its
assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement Dis-
trict No. 943 and G.W. Walker ' L +p, Hutton
and W. C.Mullins are hereby named Commissioners, who
shall compose the Board of Improvement for said District.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
