BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF LITTLE ROCK , ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Tha% , whereas, the owners of the following described property, to -Wit: 1513 Scott Street 114 Victory 1409 West 6th 2407 Cedar 2012 West 7th 300 Valentine 603 Thayer 1605 Izard 910 West 7th 1514 McGowan 1516 McGowan 1220 Chester 510 Jones 1510 Spring 1000 North 622 West Markham Foot of North Scott NW corner Wright Ave. & Park 313 W- Markham 1122 Park Ave. 1600 E. 15th 201 No. Izard 2907 High 2900 W. 12th 2521 W. 10th 400 E. Capitol 2 story barn 1 story frame store and house 1 story barn 1 story residence 1 story residence 1 story residence 1 story residence 1 story residence 1 story shed 1 story residence 1 story residence Fire damaged residence Fire damaged residence 2 story barn 2 story brick residence 2 story brick house 1 story frame shed 1 story frame filling station Boiler room in rear House Old filling station Barn House House House Garages in the rear have allowed the buildings located on said property to deteriorate to the extent that said buildings have been found by the Fire Com- mittee of the Little Rock City Council to be hazardous in that they and each of them constitute a fire hazard, and in addition are dan- gerous to the lif e and limb of the public; and same and each of them are hereby declared to be nuisances. And the Chief of Police s�_ hereby instructed to serve the owners of each of said pieces of property with a. copy of this ordinance and notify said owner or owners that the respective pieces of property must either be torn down and removed or remodeled within thirty (30) days from the date hereof. SECTION 2. In the event the owner or owners of any of said pieces of property cannot be located, the Chief of Police is instructed to serve said notice by posting a copy of this ordi- R nance on the front door of each of said bu ildin- s and report such action to the Fire Committee of the City Council. SECTION 3. Any owner or owners of any of the within described property failing or refusing to conform to the provis- ions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof 1n.--the Little Rock Municipal Court shall be fined in any sum not less than Twenty -five Dollars ($25.00) nor more than Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00). SECTION 4. The City Attorney is hereby authorized and Instructed to proceed to take all necessary court action in order to secure the removal of the property herein declared to be a nuisance if same is not removed or remodeled within thirty days (30) of the date hereof. SECTION 5. Due to the constant fire hazard and the danger that these pieces of property present to the public safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety , and the same shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
