AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET II°,TROVE ,MTT
DISTRICT NO. 546•
ti'E-3" TMAS, parties claiming to be the owners of two- thirds in
assessed value of the property located within the territory herein-
after described, have filed a petition praying that an Improvement
District be established for the purpose hereinafter set out;
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law the City Council
of the City of Little Rock`, Arkansas, has heard all parties desir-
ing to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was signed
by two - thirds in assessed value of the ovmers of real property
within said territory;
NOW TI- EMFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas;
SECTION 1: There is hereby established an Improvement District
embracing the following property:
Lots 1 to 11, inclusive, Block 3 )
Lots 12 to 22, inclusive Block 4, )
Lots 12 to 22 inolusive� Block 5; ) all in Adams$ Addi-
Lots 1 to ll inclusive' Block 6, ) tion to the City of
Lots 1 to 11, inclusive, Block 11, ) Little Rock; Arkansas,
Lots 12 to 22, inclusive, Block 12,
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving
Rice Street from the south property line of Wright Avenue to the
north property line of West Twenty -first Street (three blocks), in
the corporate limits of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Said District shall be known as Street Improvement District
No. and Paul M. Leird, A. 0. Northern, and J. W. Strawn
are hereby named Commissioners, who shall compose the Board of Im-
provement for said District.
SECTION 2s This ordinance shall-take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
