AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FUND THE
S'S'M 01P TWO HUNDRED NINE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ONE DOLLARS AND 45/100
( ;209,501945) TO BE EXPENDED IN THB PURCHASE OF CERTAIN TRACTS AND
PARCELS OF LAND IN PULASKI COUNTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENLARGING AND
EXPANDING THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
TO EXIST, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

One Dollars and 45100 ($209,501.45) is hereby appropriated out of
the Airport Construction Fund for the purpose of purchasing various
tracts and parcels of land hereinafter described and located in Pu-
laski County, Arkansas, for the purpose of expanding and enlaring
the Little Rook Municipal Airport.
Section 2• The sum of Two Hundred Nine Thousand Five Hundred
One Dollars and 45100 ( #209,501.45) appropriated in Section 1 of
this ordinance shall be expended in the purchase of the lands des-
cribed hereafter and paid to the owners of said lands and to Read,
Stevenson 4 Dick, Inc., in the amounts indicated hereafters

Section 3. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorised

above in the amounts mentioned for the purchase of the described real
estate on delivery of an adequate deed of conveyance to the premises
set out in Section 2 of this ordinance and on presentation to J. V.
Satterfield, Jr-, Mayor of the City of Little Rook, of sufficient p000t

Section 4. Whereas, in view of the present defense program of
the national government and of the importance of the development of
the Little Book Municipal Airport, and, whereas, the expansion of the
Little Rook Municipal Airport is necessary to the peace, health,
