AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE
FOR BIDS AND MAKE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE LITTLE
ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT, SAID PURCHASES TO BE MADE OUT OF THE AIRPORT,
FIRE EQUIPMENT AND HOSPITAL FUND, FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized to advertise for bids and purchase the following equip -
ment for use by the Little Rook Fire Departments
1 -- 501 Extension Ladder
1 -- 281 Trussed Ladder
1 -- 30' Trussed Ladder
1 -- 141 Roof Ladder
2 -- Tires (40 x 8) 2 -- Tubes (40 x 8)
2 -- Tires (38 x 7) 2 -- Tubes (38 x 7)
1 -- Coaster Lite Siren
2 -- Indian Fire Pumps
1 -- Foamite Extinguis#er
1 Set Booster Brakes
1 -- gif Life Net (Fold in Quarters)
18 -- Salvage Covers 12 x 18 Greenbak
10 -- All Service Gas Masks
1 -- No. 16 Super Vacuum Exhaust Fan Smoke Ejector
2 -- 21," Play Pipes
2 -- 2y" Fog Nozzles Tips
Paint for the No. 3 Truck
Section 29 The purchases authorised in Section 1 hereof
shall be made out of the Airport, Fire Equipment and Hospital Fund,
Fire Department Account.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
