AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR AND MAKE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT
TO BE USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIRE STATION LOCATED AT
TWELFTH AND VALENTINE STREETS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, SAID
PURCHASES TO BE MADE OUT OF THE AIRPORT, FIRE EQUIPMENT AND
HOSPITAL FUND, FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:.
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized to advertise for bids and make purchase of the fol-
lowing materials as per architect's specifications for use in
the construction of the fire station to be located at Twelfth
and Valentine Streets in the City of Little Rook:
Cast iron grates
Pipe railing
I beam lintels
Cast iron vents
Anchor bolts
Wire mesh
Highway mesh
Reinforcing and slab spacers
Reinforcing bars
Said purchases shall cost approximately $475.00•
Section 2• The purchases authorized in Section 1
hereof shall be made out of the Airport, Fire Equipment and
Hospital Fund, Fire Department Account.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
