AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM THE GENERAL FUND
FOR PAYMENT TO THE COMMUNITY CHEST OF GREATER LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas the sum of Five Thousand Dollars
and No/100 ($5000.00) Dollars for payment to the Community Chest of
Greater Little Rock, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to issue the City's Warrant in said amount payable to said
Community Chest of Greater Little Rock.
Section 2. Whereas, the Community Chest is in immediate need
of financial assistance in order to care for needy citizens an
emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
