AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS, AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 547 OF.THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHERUB, the majority of two- thirds in value of the property owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Street Improvement District No. 547 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of grading, draining, 'curbing, guttering, and paving Rose Street from the south property line.of Lee Avenue to the north property line of Markham Street as therein set out have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of said improvement -, and the soot thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of said District according to the benefits received; and WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot, block, and parcel of real property situated in said District equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and *6,500.00; WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas: Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks, and parcels of real property in said Street Improvement District No. 547 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be assessed aceord� ing to the assessment list for said improvement district as the same now remains in the office of the City Clergy, and that _ -o . W. a twenty per centum (20%) of the assessment of benefits on each of said lots, blocks, and parcels of real estate shall be paid annually on or before the 1st day of February, of each year, beginning with February 1, 194 ; 4 ,r # the whole of the said local s • cent of benefits shall be paid.
