AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE WIDTH OF PAVEMENT OF STREETS IN
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 548; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES,
WHEREAS, the City Council on October 28, 1940, on peti-
tion, has established the width of pavement of sums of the
streets embraced in Street Improvement District No. 548; and
WHEREAS, it is desired that the pavement of all streets
in said district be of the same width;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the width of the pavement of streets in
Street Improvement District No. 548 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas be, and the same is hereby established at thirty (30)
feet for the following part of the following streets, to -wit:
Ferry Street from the North side of East
Capitol Avenue to the Sou* side of East
Ninth Street;
East Seventh Street from the East side of
Sherman Street to the West side of Rector
Street; and
East Eighth Street from the East side of
Sherman Street to the West side of Rector
Street,
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
Section 3. This ordinance being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and the same shall be in full force
and effect immediately after its passage.
