ORDINANCE NO.6056
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF
SUM OF EIGHTEEN HUNDRED FIFTY AND
EXPENDED IN THE PURCHASE OF CERTA
PULASKI COUNTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF
ROCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, DECLARING
PURPOSES.
THE AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FUND THE
N01100 DOLLARS ($1850.00) TO BE
IN TRACTS AND PARCELS OF LAND IN
ENLARGING AND EXPANDING THE LITTLE
AN EMEGENCY TO EXIST AND FOR OTHER
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The sum of Eighteen Hundred Fifty and no/100 Dollars
($1850.00) is hereby appropriated out of the Airport Construat 'idn P und'
for the purpose of purchasing various tracts and parcels of land here-
inafter described and located in Pulaski County, for the purpose of
expandi -ng and-enlarging the Little Rock Municipal Airport.
Section 2. The sum of Eighteen Hundred and Fifty and no/100
Dollars (41850.00) appropriated in Section 1 of this ordinance shall
be expended in the purchase of the lands described hereafter and paid
to the owners of said lands and to Read., Stevenson & Dick, Inc., in
the amounts indicated hereafter:

Section 3. The Mayor
an-d the City
Clerk are hereby
authorized
to issue the warrants of the City of Little Rock to the parties named
above in the.amounts mentioned for the purealse of the described real
estate on delivery of an adequate deed of conveyance to the premises
set out in Section 2 of this ordinance and 4p1( presentation to J• V.
Satterfield, Jr., Mayor of the City of Little Rock, of sufficient
proof of merchantable title in the parties named.

Section 4. Whereas, in view of the present defense program of
the national government and of the importance of the development of
"Li i�l�e Ivojc #a cipal" Airpa I jeas, the expansion of
the Little Rock Municipal Airport is "necessary to the peace, health,
safety and well being of the oitizens of Little Rock, Arkansas, NOW,
THEREFORE, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and ap-
proval.
