ORDINANCE No. 6060
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT No. 550.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of two- thirds
in assessed value of the property located within the territory
hereinafter described have filed a petition praying that an
improvement district be established for the purposes hereinafter
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by two - thirds in assessed value of the
owners of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an Improvement
district embracing the following described property:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 8, Block
5, Country Rub Heights Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, thence South along the West line of the
alley which runs North and South through Block 5 to the
Southeast corner of Lot 14, Block 5 of said Country Club
Heights Addition; thence in a Southerly direction to the
Northeast corner of Lot 35, Block 2 of said Addition;
thence South to the Southeast corner of Lot 3, Block 2
of said Addition; thence West along the North property
line of Club Road (also called "R" Street) to the South-
west corner of Lot 3, Block 1 of said Addition; thence
North to the Northwest corner of Lot 8, Block 1 of said
Addition; thence in a Northerly diroectiionBacross
of said
Street to the Southwest corner of ,
Addition; thence North along the East line of the alley
which runs North and South through Block 6 to the North-
west corner of Lot 7, Block 6 of said Addition; thence.
East along the South property line of "T" Street to the
point of beginning.
Said property within the improvement district hereby
established consists of the following described property:
Lots 11 2, 31 8, 9, 10 of Block l; lots 1, 21 31
35, 369 37 of Block 2; lots .8 to 14, inclusive, of
Block 5; lots 1 to 7 of Block 6; all in Country Club
Heights Addition of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.

The purpose of the improvement district hereby established
is to drain, grade, curb, gutter, and pave the following described
streets, to -wit:
North Spruce Street in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, from the North Property line of Club Road
(also called nR^ Street) to the South Property line
of "Tn Street,
in such manner and with such materials as the Board of Improvement
of said district may deem for the best interests of the district,
` -{ subject to the approval of the City Engineer.

Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District
No. 550; and James M. Coates, 0. C. Melson, and J. M. Beck are
hereby named commissioners, who shall compose the Board of Im-

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
