BE IT ORPAIlES 2 T?-T.I,' CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCY, A KANSAS:
Section 1. The sun of Seven Hundred Twenty -Five and no/100 Dollars
(1725.00) is '_lereby appropriated out of the Airport Construction Fend
for the purpose of p rob.asing various tracts and parcels of land here-
inafter described and located in Pulaski County, for the purpose of
expar_dinL and enlarging the Little Rock Municipal Airport.
Section 2. The sum of Seven Hundred Twenty -Five and no/100
Dollars ($725.00) appropriated in Section 1 of this ordinance shall
be expended in the purchase of the lands described hereafter and paid
to the owners of said lands and to Read, Stevenson & nick, Inc., in
the 97nunts indicated hereafter:
S. F. Lipsmeyer Lots 5 & 6 B. 3 Ratterrpo's Fac. View w 500.00
Alice DouTherty Lot 11 Block 3 Ratterree's Fac. View 225.00
Section 3. The It Tor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
to issue the warrants of the City of Little Rock to the parties named
above in the amounts mentioned for the purchase of the described real
estate on delivery of an adequate deed of conveyance-to the premises
set out in Section 2 of,this ordinance and on presentation to J. V.
Satterfielc, Jr., Mayor of the City of Little Rock, of sufficient
proof of rerchantable title in the parties named.
Section 4. Whereas, in view of the present defense program of
the national Government and of the imlortanco of the development of
the Little Rock I,Iunicipal Airport, and, whereas, the expansion of
the Little Pock Municipal Airport is necessary to the peace, health,
safety and well tieing of the citizens of Little Eock, Arkansas, NOW,
THEREFORE, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and ap-
proval.
