AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23 , OF ORDINANCE N0. 5420, OF THE
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO PROVIDE FOR
PUBLICATION OF NOTICES OF PUBLIC HEARINGS ON PROPOSED ZONING
CHANGES oAVD OTIMER AMENDMENTS TO SAID ORDINANCE N0. 5420, TEAT DAYS
IN ADVANCE OF THE DATE OF SAID HEARINGS INSTEAD OF FIFTEEN DAYS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Section 23 of Ordinance No. 5420, of the
ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby
amended to read as- follows:
"Section 23. CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS: The City Council
of the City of Little Rock may from time to time, on its own motion
or on petition, after a public hearing of which at least ten (10)
days' notice has been given in an official newspaper, amend,
supplement or change , modify or repeal the boundaries or regulations
herein or subsequently established, after submitting same to the
City Planning Commission for its recommendation and report. r
SECTION 2, This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and approval.
