ORDINANCE NO. i091.
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET
INPROVENENT DISTRICT N0. 9rj4 OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more
than two- thirds in assessed value of the property located within
the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purpose
hereinafter set out; and
WHERLAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties
desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was
signed by more than two- thirds in assessed value of the owners of
real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, to -wit:
Lots 9 to 16, inclusive, of Block 3
Lots 1 to 8, inclusive, of Block 6
Lots 1 to 10, inclusive, of Block 14
Lots 11 to 20, inclusive, of Block 15
All in Pfeifer's Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas;
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and
paving in such a manner and with such materials as the Commissioners
to be elected for the said improvement district shall deem to be
for the best interest of said district, the following part of
the following street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
"B" Avenue from the west line of North Van Buren
Street to the east line of Tyler street;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from
any agency of the federal or city government be assessed and
charged upon the real property above described, provided the
liability of each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its
assessed benefits.

Said district shall be known as Street Improvement
District No. 554 ; and T. D. Clanton, Henry J. Scott and
L. H. A,nthamatten are hereby named commissioners, who shall
compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
