HomeMy WebLinkAbout6092.v-_.. -A . - ORDINANCE N0, 1092• AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS AND PAR- CELS OF LAND WITHIN .ANNEX NO. 3 TO STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 534 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. WHEREAS, the majority in value of the property owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and sit- uated in Annex No. 3 to Street Improvement District No. 534 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving Elm Street as therein set out have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of said improve- ment, and that the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property of said annex to said district according to the benefits received; and WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot, block, and parcel of real property situated in said annex to said district equals or exceeds the local assessment.thereon; and $3..540.00. WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; SECTION 1. That said several lots, blocks and parcels of real property in said Annex No. 3 to Street Improvement Dis- trict No. 534 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be assessed according to the assessment list for said improvement district annex as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk, and that Twenty per eentum (20 %) of the assessment of benefits on each of said lots, blocks and parcels of real estate shall be paid annually on or before the 1st day of March, of each year, beginning with March 1, 1941s until the whole of said local assessment of benefits shall be paid. a 'f SECTION 2.
