AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE
FOR BIDS AND MAKE 'A CONTRACT FOR CONVERTING THE THREE WHEEL BASE
ROLLER IN THE STREET DEPARTMENT FROM STEAM TO GASOLINE POWER, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized to advertise for bids and to make contract for the
conversion of the three wheel base roller in the Street
Department from steam to gasoline power.
Section 2. The purchase authorized by Section 1 of
this ordinance shall be paid out of the general funds of the
City of Little Rock, and the g.eneral funds shall be reimbursed
with those funds obtained from the sale of crushed stone from
the City Quarry to various paving districts using same.
