AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS
TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE
SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 550, OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, more than two - thirds in value of the property
holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affeeted'`
and situated in Street Improvement District No. 550, in the
city of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of
grading, draining, curbing, guttering, paving and otherwise
improving the following described street, to -wit:
North Spruce Street in the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, from the North property line
of Club Road (also called ^Rr Street) to the
South property line of "T" Street;
have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, for the construction of said improvements and that
the cost
thereof shall be
assessed
.upon the
real property ,_ in said
district
according to the
benefits
received;
and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block,
lot, and parcel of real property, railroad and railroad right-
of -way situated in said district equals or exceeds the local
assessment thereon; and°
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
$3,200.00, exclusive of interest, and the assessed benefits amount
to $4,634.82; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots, and parcels
of real property, railroads, and railroad right -of -ways in said
Street Improvement District No. 550 of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, be and they ar8 hereby assessed according to the assess-
ment list as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk
of Little Rock, Arkansas; and as the same may be annually readjusted

by the Board of Assessors, and that 20% of said assessment of
the value of benefits to each of said blocks, lots and parcels
of land, railroad, and railroad rig]
before .the 1st day of lay, 1941 in

been paid, or so much thereof as may be required to pay the
debts of said district.
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
