ORDINANCE NO. 6177.
AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS
TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE
SEVERAL BLOCKS LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITH-
IN STREET IMPRbVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 552 OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK. ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, more than two- thirds in value of the property
holders owning property adjoining the locality to be affected
and situated in Street Improvement District No. 552, in the
city of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of
grading,.draining, curbing, guttering, .raving and otherwise
improving the following described street, to -wit:
Maple Street from the North line of
Lot 71 Block 51 _ Chesterfield Square Addition
to the CTty of Little Rock, Arkansas, ex-
tended West across Maple Street; thence
South to the South line of Lot 3, Block 1,
Hendersont s Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, extended East across Maple
Street;
have Aetitioned, the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, for the construction of said improvements and that
the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real property in
said district according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every
block, lot, and paroff of real property, railroad and railroad
right -of -way situated in said district equals or exceeds the
local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is
500.00, exclusive of interest, and the assessed benefits
amount to $5,937.03; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the several blocks, lots, and parcels
of real property, railroads, and railroad right -of -ways in said

Rock, Arkansas, be and they are hereby assessed according to
the assessment list as the same now remains in the office of
the City Clerk of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and as
