AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THK OWNER AND HIS LESSEE OWNING
AND LEASING LOTS 1+1 5 and 6 in BLOCK 255, BEING THE THREE
LOTS CORNERING ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE JUNCTION OF
RINGO AND NORTH STREETS, ABUTTING ON THE SOUTH AND EAST
SIDES OF SAID JUNCTION, AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE TO CUT THE
PRESENT CURB AND ARRANGE AN APPROACH FOR BUSES TO SAID
PROPERTY: ALL TO BE DONE IN A PROPER MANNER, SUBJECT TO
THE APPROVAL OF THE CITY ENGINEER.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION 1. The owner and his lessee of Lots 1+, 5
and 6 in Block 255, being the three lots cornering on the
southeast corner of the junction of Ringo and North Streets,
are hereby authorized, at their own expense to cut each of
the curbs opposite the said lots on Ringo Street and North
Street back approximately 150 feet from the southeast corner
of the junction of said streets; and to replace them'.Ivith a
proper incline,for the use of buses to and from said lots;
all to be done in a manner approved by the City Engineer.
SECTION 2.' The owner of the lots described in
Section 1 and his lessee need to use the said lots for the
storage of buses used in the public service in and adjacent
to the City, and have no -other available place to store them;
and it is immediately necessary that such a place be pro -
vided as set forth in this ordinance, and its immediate opera -
tion being necessary'for.the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety, an e*ergency is declared and it shall take
effect and be in force on and after its passage.
