ORDINANCE NO. 6183
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT N0. 558.

WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of two - thirds in
assessed value of the property located within the territory herein-
after described have filed a petition praying that an imnrovement
district be established for the purposes hereinafter set out; and,
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City Council
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all parties desiring
to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition was signed by
two- thirds in assessed value of the owners of real property within
said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section. 1. There is hereby established In imnrovement district
embracing the following described nroperty:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 18, Block 14,
of Neemeyert s Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
run West to the Northwest corner of Lot 4, Block 6, of
Waymant s Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
thence in a Southwesterly direction across Cedar Street
to the Northeast corner of Lot 16, Block 3 of said Niemeyerts
Addition; thence West to the Northwest corner of Lot 9, Block
3, of said Niemeyerts Addition; thence in a Westerly direction
across Elm Street to thA Northeast corner of Lot 7, Block 7,
of Sam W. Welchts Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkan-
sas; thence West to the Northwest corner of Lot 12, Block 9
of said Sam W. 'Welch t s Addition; thence South to the Southwest
corner of Lot 1, Block 12,`" of said Sam W. Welchts Addition;
thence East to the Southeast corner of Lot 6, Block 14 of said
Sam W. Welchts Addition; thence in a Southeasterly direction
across Elm Street to the Southwest corner of Lot 6, Block 4
of said Niemeyerts Addition; thence East to the Southeast corner
of Lot 19, Block 13 of said Niemeyerts Addition; thence North
to the point of beginning.
Said property within the imnrovement district hereby established
convists of the following described property:
Lots 9 to 16, inclusive, Block 3;
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, and Lots 19 to 249 inclusive,
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, and Lots 19 and 20, Block 5;
Lots 13 to 16, inclusive, Block 6;
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, and Lots 18 to 24, inclusive,
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, and Lots 19 to 24, inclusive,
Lots 7 to 18, inclusive, Block 14;
All in Niemeyerts Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Lots 11 and 12, Block 5;
Lots 4, 59 69 and 9, Block 6;
Block 4;
Block 12;
Block 13;
Arkansas;

Arkansas.
The nurno se of the improvement di strict hereby established is
to drain, grade, curb, gutter, and nave the following described
streets, to -wit:
West Twenty -third Street in the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, from the West boundary of Maple Street to the
East boundary of Peyton Street, including all intersections
extent Pine Street, Cedar Street, and that portion of Lewis
Street occupied by the Capitol Transnortation Comnany, '-
in such manner and with such materials as the Board of Improvement
of said district may deem for the best interests of the district,
subject to the apnroval of the City Engineer.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement District
No. 558; and p. L. Butler, H. C. Willms, and G. H. Mayhar are hereby
named commissioners, who shall compose the Board of Improvement for
said district.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
