AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET
IDWROVEMNT DISTRICT NO. 6-.a9 OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, SAS
WHMAS, parties claiming to be the owners of more
than two- thirds in assessed value of the property located within
the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purpose
hereinafter set out; and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by more than two- thirds in assessed value
of the owners of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, to -wit:
Lots 7, 8 and 9, of Block 2
Lots 7 to 12, inclusive, of Block 3
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, and 10, 11, and 12,
of Block 6
Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, of Block 7
All in Ferndale Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas;
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and
paving in such a manner and with such materials as the commissioners
to be elected for the said improvement district shall deem to be
for the best interest of said district, the following parts of the
following streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wit:
Jones Street from the North property line of
West Sixth Street to the North property line
of nest Seventh Street;
West Sixth Street from the West property line
of Jones Street to the East property line of
Appianway;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from
any agency of the federal or city government be assessed and

charged upon the real property above described, provided the
liability of each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its
assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement
District No. =; and A. G. Brodie, Odra. B. P. Champion, and

ar'e hereby named commissioners, who shall com-
pose the Board of Improvement for said district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
