AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STREET
INPROVENlENT DISTRICT NO. 61 OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, SAS
WHERXA3, parties claiming to be the owners of more
than two - thirds in assessed value of the property located within
the territory hereinafter described have filed a petition praying
that an improvement district be established for the purpose
hereinafter set out; and
�, after due notice as required by law, the City
Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said
petition was signed by more than two- thirds in assessed value of
the owners of real property within said territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of Little
Rock, to -wit:
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, of Blocks 23,
26, and 31
Lots 7 to 12, inclusive, of Blocks 22,
27, and 30,
All in Park View Addition to the City
of Little Rock, arkansas;
Lots 10, 11, 12, and 13 of Forest Heights
Place in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering, and
paving in such a manner and with such materials as the commissioners
to be elected for the said improvement district shall deem to be
for the best interest of said district, the following part of the
following street in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, to -wits
Pierce Street from the South property line
of "Y" Street to the North property line
of "V" Street and thence continued in a
Southeasterly direction to join the present
pavement on Pierce Street beginning at the
South property line of "V" Street;
and that the cost thereof, over and above any aid received from
any agency of the federal or city government be assessed and
charged upon the real property above described, provided the

liability of each lot or tract of land shall be limited to its
assessed benefits.
Said district shall be known as Street Improvement

compose the Board of Improvement for said district.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
