AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE
FOR BIDS FOR AND CONDUCT EXAMINATIONS AND TO EMPLOY AN ARCHITECT
TO DRAW PLANS FOR A COMBINED HANGAR AND OFFICE BUILDING AT THE
LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT WHICH IS KNOWN AS ADAMS FIELD;
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO MAKE PAYMENT'OF THE AIRPORT
CONSTRUCTION FUND; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, it appears that there is a glefinite pressing need
for another hangar and a building to provide offices .shwa♦ ee# t
Little Rook Municipal Airport which is known as Adams Field, and
WHEREAS, it is apparent that the need for such acoomodation
is pressing, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
to advertise for bids for and to conduct an appropriate examination
and to emplo in the manner provided by law an architect to draw
plans for a combined hangar and office building to be constructed
on the Little Rook Municipal Airport which is designated as Adams
Field
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated out of'the Airport
Construction Fund such sum as shall be neoeseppy to pay for the
employment of the architect as authorized in Section 1, and the
Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to issue
a warrant on the Airport Construction Fund to pay for such purchases.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
