AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 37,AS AMENDED,OF ORDINANCE NO. 5876; PROVIDING FOR LIMITED PARKING ON EAST 2ND STREET 'r OF SHERMAN STREET IN BLOCK 7 OF POPE'S ADDITION TO THEICITY OF LITTLE ROCK; MAKING VIOLATIONS-yA MISDEMEANOR, FIXINQ A,,PENALTY, AN FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. Section 1. From and after the passage and approval of this ordinance, when signs are erected in each block giving notice thereof of limited parking, no person shall park a vehicle for a longer time than hereafter designated at any time between the hours of 8:00 A. M. to 6 :00 P. M. of any day except Sunday and public h©lidays upon any of the streets as follows :` Beginning at the Northwest corner of the intersection of East 2nd Street and Sherman Street on the north side of the street, the west forty (40) feet of the east seventy - five (75) feet - -30 minutes. Section 2. Any person found guilty of violating the provisions of Section l of this ordinance shall be guilty of a middemeanor; each violation over the time stated in this section shall con- stitute a separate offense. Section 3. Any person found guilty of a misdemeanor under the terms of this ordinance shall, upon conviction in the Little Rock Municipal Court, be fined in any amount not less than One Dollar (41.00) nor more than Five 1?ollars (45.00). Section 4. The regulation of traffic upon the streets of the City of Little Rock being a matter of great importance to the eiti.- tens thereof, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this - ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
