BE IT ORDAINED BY TrTE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE R OC A, ARKANSAS.
Section 1. Ordinance No. 6358 is hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated as the City's
pro rata share of the expenses of the 1'uleski County Defense
Council for the year 1942 the sum of Eimhteen Hundred Dollars
(1;1800.00), and the blayor and the City Clerk are hereby author-
ized to issue the City's warrant tot he Pulaski County Defense
Council, Joshua K. Shepherd, Chairman.
Section 3. diHFPEAS, the matters embraced in this ordinance
are of great concern in the present national emergency, and,
WHEREAS, -the efficient functioning of Pulaski County Defense
Council and the citir's cooperat on therein is of vital import
to all of the citizens of Little Rock, this ordinance is
found to be necessary for the public peace, health and
welfare, and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
