AN ORDINANCE CFANGING THE NAME OF THE CITY PARK TO DOUGLAS
kaoARTHUR PARK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the bravery and
glorious deeds of General Douglas MacArthur, a native son of
Little Rock, should be commemorated, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE 1OCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The name of the City Park of Little hock,
Arkansas shall hereby be changed to Douglas MacArthur Park.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
