I c1 ORDINANCE NO. 6398 AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING TIE BENEFITS TO BE RECEIVED BY TIE 01"ITERS OF EACH OF TIE SEVERAL LOTS, BLOCKS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN STREET I11P'ROVEI'ENT DISTRICT NO. 551 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. VWWIREAS, the majority of tyro- thirds in value of the p $erty owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in Street Improvement District No. 551 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized for the purpose of grading, draining, curbing, guttering and paving pine Street as therein set out have petitioned the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the construction of said improve- ment, and the cost thereof shall be assessed upon the real pro- perty of said District according to the benefits received; and WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every lot, block and parcel of real property situated in said District equals or exceeds the local assessment thereon; and WHEREAS, the estimated cost of,said improvement is $3,158.00; and IT EREAS, substantial contributions have been received toward the cost of said improvement and it is not necessary to charge the full 10%o of the assessment against each lot and parcel of land in said District as provided in Ordinance No. 62881 NOVd, THEREFORE`, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas: Section 1. That the said several lots, blocks and pareels._of real property in said Street Improvement District j No. 551 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be assessed ac- cording to the assessment list for said improvement district i as the same now remains in the office of the City Clerk, and that seven and one -half per centum (7) of the assessment of benefits of each of said lots, blocks and parcels of real estate shall be paid annually on or before the 1st day of July, of each year, beginning with July 1, 1942, until the whole of the said local assessment of benefits shall be paid, or until the bonds Are % and interest have been paid in full. Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and.this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. Passed. March 30 , 1942.
