AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $24,255.00 FOR PAYMENT
OF SEMI- ANNUAL 7'VTFPEST COUPONS ON FUNDING BOND ISSUE OF MAY
1, 1925; SEMI- ANNUAL INTEREST COUPONS ON REFUNDING BOND
ISSUE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1935; SEMI- ANNUAL INTEREST COUPONS ON
REFUNDING BOND ISSUE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1938; APPROPRIATING
$60.64 FOR PAYING AGENTS CHARGES FOR PAYWI T OF SAID SEIVII-
ANNUAL INTEREST; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAIN D BY THE C ITY COUNCIL OF THE CI TY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of $24,255.00 be and the seme
is hereby appropriated out of the Bond and Interest Fund of
the City of Little Rock for the payment of the following in-
debtedness due and payable at the Chase National Bank, New York
City:
Interest Coupons No. 33 due May 1, 1942 for semi- annual
interest on Funding Bonds Nos. 941 to 1910, inclusive,
dated May 1, 1925, amount $21,825-00 (total principal
being $970,000.00).
Interest Coupons No. 13 due. May 1, 1942 for semi- annual
interest on Refunding Bonds Nos. 1 to 66, Inclusive,
dated November 1, 1935, amount $742.50 (total principal
being $33,000.00).
Interest Coupons No. 7 due May 1, 1942 for semi - annual
interest on Refunding Bonds Nos. 1 to 75, inclusive,
dated November 1, 1935, amount $1,697.50 ( total principal
being $75,000.00).
SECTION 2. That the sum of $60.64 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the Bond and Interest Fund of the
City of Little Rock for the payment of the following charges
due the Chase National Bank as paying agent's fees in connection
with the payment of the aforesaid semi- annual interest coupons,
1 . as follows:
Commission for paying coupons due May 1, 1942,
1/4 of 1% of $24,255-00 ....................... $60.64.
SECThON 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to issue the City's warrant or warrants therefor,
drawn on the Bond and Interest Fund, for the .purposes herein
recited; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to make such
arrangements as are necessary for the transmittal of these
funds to the Chase National Bank of New York City to meet the

due date of May 1, 1942 of said semi - annual interest payments
* and paying agent's charges.

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage and approval.
