AN ORDINANCE $UT$QRIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO LEASE CERTAIN
LANDS ON THE 3OU211 BANK OF THE ARKANSAS RIVER IMMEDIATELY EAST OF THE
BROADWAY BRIDGE TO THE BIG ROCK STONE AND MATERIAL CO., rECLARING
AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section L. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and.._

'reque'sted to lease to the Big Rock Stone and Material Company
the following lands owned by the City of Little Rocks
That tract ok Parcel of land bounded on the south by
the north line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad
Company's right of way; on the east by the west
line of the lease of the Boathouse Club from the
City,of Little Rock; on the west by the west property
line of Broadway Street, extended, and on the north by
the harbor line of the Arkansas River as the same may
o.r'hereafter be established, all in the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County,'Ark,ansas.
Section '2. Said lease shall be for a period of ninety nine
years and the consideration to be paid to the City shall be the
leasing to the City for said ninety nine years of the following
read property#
All that part of Block 186, City of Little Rock_,
lying south of the right of way of the St. Louis
Iron Mountain & Southern Railroad, all in the
City of Little Rock, County of Pulaski County,
Arkansas. .
Section 3. The property being leased to the City of Little
Rock being necessary to the efficient operation of the Little Rock
Municipal Auditorium and vital to the public peace, health and
safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
