OF THE CI TY OF LI TmLE ED CK PAYABLE IN MONTHLY INSTALLIviENT S
TO THE COUNCIL OF J'E,WISH WOEEN FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE
1VEST SIDE COIv ':UNITY HOUSE, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY TO EXIST
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT OP3.AINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE RO CK , ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The sum of $210.00 is hereby appropri,�t-
ed out of the general funds of the City of Little hock; said
sum constituting the City's contribution for the maintensrice
of the West Side Community House.
SECTION 2. The sum appropriated by this ordinance
shall be paid a.t the rate of 135.00 per month for six months,
the first payment being due on the tenth day of July, 1942
and a like sum on the tenth day of each month thereafter up to
and including a payment on December 10, 1342. The warrants
drawn pursuant to this ordinance shall be made payable to the
Council of Jewish Women.
SECTION 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to issue the w:=ants of the City in the amounts
and at the tiles set forth in Sections 1 and 2 of this
ordinance.
SECTION 4. The providing of the facilities maintsin-
ed by the 'Vest Side Community House being vital to the public
peace, health and safety, an emer, =ency is hereby declared to
exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its pa ssap,e and approval.
