AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVER-
TISE AND ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE SALE OF SURPLUS SCRAP IRON BELONGING
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIM' CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARK
ANSAS . -
Section 1. The Board of Public " fairs is hereby authorized
to advertise for and acbept bids for the sa16 of surplus scrap iron
belonging to the City of Little Rock, except that part needed for
maintenance and repairs of City Streets.
Section 2. The United States Government, beingin need of all
surplus metals to be used in the defense of our government an emer-
geney is declared and this ordinance shall be in full force and ef-
fect on and after its passage and approval.
