"AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE HOURS FOR ME SALE AT
RETAIL OF WINE AS DEFINED BY ACT 69 OF 1935 IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,_ ARKANSAS, PROVIDING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATION AND FOR OTHER. PURPOSES•
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the sale of wine (as defined by Act No, 69 of the
1935 Session of the General Assembly) by retail dealers
in the City of Little Rook be, and the same is hereby
prohibited between the hours of twelve o'clock midnight
and seven o'clock A. M. on week days and between the hours
of twelve o'clock midnight on Saturday and seven o'clock
A. M• the following Monday.
SECTION II: Any person convicted of violating the provisions of Section
I hereof shall be fined in any sum not less than TEN ($10.00)
DOLLARS nor more than FIFTY ($50.00) DOLLARS for the first
offense and upon conviction of such violation for the second
or any successive offense shall be fined in arV sum not less
than TW= FIVE ($25.00) DOLLARS nor more than ONE HUNDRED
($100.00) DOLLARS.
Sid TION III: It is hereby ascertained that due to the present National
Emergency and in furtherance of the War Effort that an
emergency exists and it is necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health, morals and safety that this
ordinance take effect and be in force immediately upon its
passage and publication*
