ORDINANCE N0. 6495
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
AMEND A LEASE ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE
R68K AND T. A. FUZZELL, AS AUTHORIZED UNDER ORDINANCE
NUMBER 6444; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorised
to
to enter into an agreement &sending that certain lease entered
into between the city of Little Rock, Arkansas and T. A. Fussell
as authorised under Ordinance Number 6444 of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, said amendment to be as follows:
The description of the land as set forth in said lease,
being as follows, to -wits
"That part of Fair Park comprised in the area north of
the Administration Building, and south of the miniature train
tracks as now located, and west of the driveway to within (50)
yards of the east line of Fairway #15 of the municipal Golf
Course."
shall be changed to read as follows:
"Beginning at a point 1001 Northeast of the building known
as the Goodman winter quarters building and 451 west of the X of
the north drive. Thence north 570 west on a line parallel to the
north side of the Goodman building, a distance of 217 feet to
a point. Thence N 830 E a distance of 57-feet to a point. Thence
N 870 E a distance of 228 feet to a point which is one corner of
the frame Merry -Go -Round building. thence North 610 - 30f E tsb
distance of 87 feet to a point. Thence N 010 301 W a distance of
98 feet (to bluff) to a point. Thence south 110 west a distance
4 of 57 feet to a point which is 451 from j of av
P ed north drive.
Thence in a southwesterly direction along a curved line parallel
to and 451 north and west of j of paved north drive 521 feet more
or less, to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3. The furnishing of healthful recreation to
the citizens of Little Rook being vital to the peace,
health and safety of the people of Little Rock, an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
