AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING T. A. FUZZELL TO OPERATE A SKATING RINK
ON THE PREMISES 191THERTO LEASED TO HIM: FIXING A RENTAL THEREFOR;
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, The City 6f Little Rock, Arkansas has leased to
T. A. Fuzzell certain premises situated in Fair Park; and
WHEREAS, It is desirable that the said T. A. Fuzzell should
be allowed to operate a skating rink in connection therewith,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Authority is hereby granted to T. A• Fuzzell
to operate a skating rink in the area and on the premises hitherto
leased to him by the City of Little Rock. The authority granted
hereunder shall, when acted upon by T. A. Fuzzell, become a part
of the terms of the lease authorized by Ordinance No. 6444 and
shall endure for the life of the lease to T. A. Fuzzell or any
renewals thereof.
SECTION 2. On accepting the authority granted in Section
1 of this Ordinance, said T. A. Fuzzell binds himself to pay as
rental therefor, a total of 15% of the gross receipts derived
from the operation of said skating rink.
SECTION 3. In operating the skating rink authorized hereunder,
said T. A. Fuzzell further binds himself and agrees to abide
by all the laws of the State of Arkansas and Ordinances of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas applicable to such situation.
SECTION 4. Whereas, the matter of providing healthful
recreation for the citizens of Little Rock is vital to public
peace, health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to
11 exist and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
