CES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, DECLARING 1UT EMERGENCY TO EXIST, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES," Pr'iSSED MAY 4, 1942, TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASE IN S JARIES OF
FIRST YEAR MEN IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That, that part of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 6424 of the
ordinances of the City of Little Rock, establishing monthly salaries of
employees in the Police Department of the City, known and referred to
as "First Year Men ", at One Hundred and Five Dollars 0105.00), is here-
by amended to read as follows:
All First Year I1en .................$125,00
it being the intention of this ordinance only to increase the monthly
salaries of First'-.Year hen from the present One hundred and Five Dol-
lars (105.00) to that of One Hundred and Twenty Five Dollars (A125.00).
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force
from .
