AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO
ENTER INTO A LEASE OF THE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AND OF PART
OF THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING TO THE CHICAGO AND SOUTHERN
AIRLINES, INC, LESSEE, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
authorized and empowered to enter into a lease with the
Chicago and Southern Airlines, Inc. of the Municipal Airport
and of space in the Administration Building at the Municipal
Airport on such terms as they may desire, said lease not
to extend more than nine months past the termination of the
present national emergency.
SECTION 2e The affording to the citizens of Little
Rook adequate air transportation being vital to the public
peace, health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared
i to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and

effect from and after its passage.
