AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $250.00 OUT OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
CONSTRUCTION FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF LOT 11, BLOCK 9, SAM
WELCH ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY,AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

appropriated
out
of the
v
Fire Department Construction Fund the sum of #250.00
as
the purchase price of the following real property to be
used by the Little Rook Fire Department, said property
being described as follows:
Lot .11, Block 9, Sam Welch addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
directed to issue the warrant of the city in the amount
named,drawn on the fund mentioned,to the owner, Willard
Billingsly on presentation to the City of Little Rock of
a warranty ,deed to said property conveying
title therefor and abstract of title approved by the City
Attorney certified to date of sale.
SECTION S. The lands described in section 1 of this
ordinance shall be used as a site for a fire station.
SECTION 4. The protection of the citizens of Little
Rook, Arkansas, and their property from the ravages of
fire being vital to the public peace, health andisafety,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
