AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $650.00 OUT OF THE GENERAL FUNDS
AS PAYMENT OF THE ANNUAL DUES TO THE ARKANSAS MUNICIPAL
LEAGUE FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1943,
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSASs
SECTION 19 The sum of $650900 is hereby appropriated
out of the general funds of the City of Little Rook, Arkansas,
in payment of dues to the Arkansas Municipal League for the
calendar year ending December 31, 1943; and the Mayor and
the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to issue
the warrant of the City in the amount named to the Arkansas
Municipal League; said amount to constitute payment of
the balance of the annual dues of $900.00 owed by the City
of Little Rook to the said Municipal League.
SECTION 2. The maintenance of the functions of the
Arkansas Municipal League being vital to the public peace,
y` health and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be in full force from and
after its passage.
