ORDINANCE NO. 6566
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $497.10 OUT OF THE GENERAL FUND
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,.IN PAYMENT OF VARIOUS
EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1.Thereia hereby appropriated out of the General
Fd of the City of Little Rook, the sum of $497.10, and
the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorised and directed
to issue the warrant of the City in that amount to G. L.
Alexander, City Treasurer, said money to be expended by
G. L. Alexander, City Treasurer, in payment of the employees
listed below in the amounts set opposiis their names

SECTION 2e WHEREAS, the employees listed above are to
receive the amounts not opposite their names for various and
unusual and extraordinary services and expenditures in
connection with the recent devag`ting Arkansas River flood,
and whereas said payments are for items not covered in the
usual scope of the employees duties, and whereas the capacity
to meet the necessities occasioned by such a flood by the
prompt payment of all obligations oonneotdd- with it is
found to be vital to the public peace, health and safety,
an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
