AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO
PURCHASE A PANEL, TRUCK FOR THE SANITATION DEPARTM NT, AND
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SAID PURCHASE.
BE IT ORDAINED By THE C ITY C OUNC IL OF THE C TTY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs of the City of -
Little Rock is herbby'au$horized and directed to advertise
for bids and purchase a one -half ton. panel truck for the
use of the Sanitation Department.
SECTION 2. The sum of 4400.00 is hereby appropriated
out of the City General Fund for the purchase of the aforesaid
truck.
SECTION 3. This ordinance, being necessary for the pres-
ervation of health and safety of the citizens of Little Rock,
an emergency is declared and said ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
