AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A LEASE TO T. A. FUZZELL
OF CERTAIN LANDS IN FAIR PARK FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS, DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized

:ad to enter Into a lease with To A. Fuzzell of the

following lands located in Fair Park and more particularly des-
cribed as follows, to -wit:
Beginning at se- point 100 ft. Northeast of the .building known j
as the Goodman Wint" V_T Quarter Building, and 45 ft. West of the center-
line of the North drive. Thence North 57 degrees West on a line
parallel to the North side of the Goodman Building, a di- stanoe of
217 ft. to a point. Thence North 33 degrees East, a distance of '57
ft. to a point. Thence North 87 degrees East, a distance of 228 ft*
to a point, which is one corner of the frame Merry -Go -Round Building.
Thence North '61 degrees - 30 ft. East, a distance of 87 ft. to a
point. Thence North 01 degrees, 30 r4Ji. West, a distance of 98 ft.
(to bluff) to a point. _Thence South 11 degrees West, a distance of
57 ft* to a point which is 45 ft. from center -line of paved North
drive. Thence in a southwesterly direction along a curved line
parallel to and 45 ft. North and West of center -line of paved
North drive, 521 ft., more or less, to the point of beginning.

for a period of five (5) years from its date of execution and shall
be in lieu of and spbstituted for any other lease or leases or
amendments thereto of the same premises now existing between the
City of Little Rock and T. A. Fuzzell.
SECTION 3. The terms of the lease authorized under this
ordinance shall be, except for the term of the lease, identical
with the provisions now found in any other lease or leases and
amendments thereto covering the above described real property

SECTION 4. WHEREAS, the Council hereby finds as a fact that •
this` lease is designed to make possible certain additions and,-im-
provements to the recreational facilities now provided for the

citizens of Little Rook in Fair Park, and
WHEREAS, the furnishing of adequate recreational facilities
to the citizens of Little Rook is vital to the public peace, health
and safety, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
