AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO PURCHASE
CERTAIN TURNOUT SUITS AND HELJETS FOR THE FIRE DEPART -DENT, SAID
EQUIPMENT TO BE PURCHASED OUT OF THE GENERAL FUNDS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, DECLARING AN EME'-GE ,ICY, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
and directed to
the Little Rock
The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
purchase the following equipment for use by
Fire Department:
12 Turnout Suits
12 Helmets
SECTION 2. The purchase authorized in section 1 of this
ordinance shall be made out of the general funds of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, and shall not exceed the sum of $325.00.
SECTION 3. The preservation of the citizens of and their
property in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, from the ravages
of fire is found to be vital to the public peace, health, and
safety, and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage.
