ORDINANCE N0. 6602.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO PURCHASE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER FOR ADAMS FIELD ( LITTLE ROCK
MUNICIPAL AIRPORT), DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorised
and directed to purchase, in the manner provided by law, the
following fire extinguisher for use at Adams Field (Little Rook
Municipal Airport):
1 Fire Extinguisher, 40- gallon foan engine, 75 lb. carbon-
dioxide gas, portable engine on wheels.
SECTION 2. Because the Little Rook Municipal Airport is now
without adequate means of fire protection, and
Because of the hazard of fire at the -Little Rook Municipal
Airport, and
Because of the danger to the public peace, health and safety
that would result therefrom, an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and offset from.,
and after its passage.
