DEPARTMENT, DECLARING A14 EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY T=?E CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board. of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertize for bids for and make purchase, in the
manndr provided by law, of the followirI; equipment for the use (f
the Little Rock Fire Department:

Section 2. Whereas, the purchase of the above described
equipment for the use of the Fire Department is necessary to the
efficient operation of t'^ e Little Rock �'ire Department and the
vrotection thereby of the citizens of Little Rock, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and this ordinance, being necessary for
the preservation of the Dublic peace, health, and safety, shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
