BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:

of Engineer- Director of the City Planning Commission-at a
salary not to exceed $4200.00 annually, payable monthly;
there is hereby created the position of draftsman -at a
salary not exceeding the sum of $1800.00 annually, payable
monthly; there is also appropriated the sum of $1000.00
for supplies, stationery, equipment, postage, etc., for
the office of the City Planning Commission.
Section 2. The Engineer- Director shall perform
such duties as may be assigned to or imposed upon him by
the City Planning Commission in connection with all matters
pertaining to the carrying out of the Little Rock City Plan;
all matters pertaining to city planning, zoning and sub-
division control and other matters under the jurisdiction
of the City Planning Commission as now provided by statutes
and ordinances. The draftsman provided for herein, or any
other employees, are to perform such duties as may be
assigned to them by the Engineer- Director, or by order of
the City Planning Commission.
Section 3. There is hereby appropriated the sum
Of $7000.00 annually for the staffing, maintenance and,opero&
tion of the office of the City Planning Commission as pro-
vided in Section 1 of this Ordinance.

Section 4. This Ordinance being necessary for
the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety
an emergency is hereby declared to exist and the same shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval:
