ORDINANCE N0. 6635.
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS REMAINING IN THE AIRPORT
SINKING FUND TO THE AIRPORT BOND FUND; AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS
REMAINING IN THE AUDITORIUM SINKING FUND TO THE AUDI TORIUfLI BOND FUND;
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS REMAINING IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BOND
FUND TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SINKING FUND." AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY TREASURER TO DEPOSIT ALL DELINQUENT' TAX COLLECTIONS FOR THE BENEFIT
OF THE AIRPORT SINKING FUND, THE AUDITORIUM SINKING FUND, AND THE
FIRE DEPARTMENT BOND FUND, INTO THE AIRPORT BOND FUND, AUDITORIUM BOND
FUND , AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SINKING FUND , RESPECTIVELY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
,.t EREAS, on May 1, 1940, bonds in the amount � of $75,000 t3.
were issued for the purpose of making certain improvements at Adams

Field, Little Rock Municipal Airport; and bonds in the amount of
$30,000.00 were issued for the purpose of finishing the construction
and equipping of the Municipal Auditorium; and bonds in the amount of
$25,000.00 were issued for the purpose of making certain improvements I
in the Little Rock Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, all three issues of said bonds have matured and all
obligations in connection therewith have been met; and,
WHEREAS, there remains in the Airport Sinking Fund a balance
of $7,043.98; and in the Auditorium Sinking Fund a balance of $5,290.93;

in the Sire' Department Bond Fund a balance of X2,120.46;
WHEREAS,, qn October 1, 1940, bonds in the amount of $377,000.00
were issued for the same purposes as the Airport issue of May 1, 1940,

that have not yet matured in full; and, on February 1, 1937, bonds in
the amount of $46$,000.00 were issued for the same purposes as the
Auditorium issue of May 1, 1940 -, that have not yet matured in full;
and, on January 16; 1942, bonds in the amount of $25,000.00 were issued
for
the same
purposes
as the
Fire Department issue of May 1, 1940, that
have
not yet
matured
in . full ;
and,
WHEREAS, the balances remaining in the retirement. funds for
.. bonds already matured are no longer needed therein and are needed in
the retirement funds fcr bonds issued for the same purposes yet b r
E mature, and may be used therein;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to transfer the balance of $7,043-88 now remaining in the Airport
Sinking Fund to the Airport Bond Fund.

Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to transfer the balance of $5,290.93 now remaining in the Auditorium

Sinking Fund to the Auditorium Bond Fund. 4
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized

to transfer the balance of $2,120.06 now remaining in the Fire Depart-

Section 4. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and

directed to deposit all delinquent tax collections coming to him for
.4 the benefit of the Airport Sinking Fund, the Auditorium Sinking Fund, !

and the Fire Department Bond Fund, into the Airport Bond Fund, the
Auditorium Bond Fund, and the Fire Department Sinking Fund, respectively. _
} Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect

j from and after its passage and approval.
